STILLWATER – It looked a little different on Thursday as Oklahoma State went through an hour and 45 minute practice primarily on the fields outside the Sherman Smith Training Center. This was practice No. 14 of the 15 allowed in the spring and afterwards head coach Mike Gundy complimented the efforts and reminded the team that these were the guys they will depend on. There will be some 30 players that will be coming over the summer to join the program.

"There will be some 30 players that will be coming over the summer to join the program. There are some 256 players expected as of now (14 in the recruiting class and 12 transfer portal additions) and that will grow."

I am going to go out on an editing limb and say, either no proofing was done or just flat out missed it.
Two hundred and fifty-six players? Probably should have been twenty-six.

clearly it was a typo, since 14+12=26. He must have had 25 and the edit to 26 wasn't successful.

Robert ?

you briefly mentioned the play of the defensive line, could you also comment on how the OLine looked, and how many were rotating in.

thanks

Offensive line got whittled down some in spring game with bumps and bruises, right now main tackles are Nuku Mafi, Noah McKinney, Davis Dotson and Tyler Brumfield. Guards are Jakobe Sanders, Gage Stanaland, and centers Kasen Carpenter and Jarrett Henry. Davis Dotson, Noah McKinney. Offensive line will come together over summer and fall camp with the players added. Work in progress.

You said Sanders and Stanaland were playing guard. I also am assuming Kawecki will play guard/center when he's healthy. Is there any chance some of the current tackles will move inside to start at guard if the transfers beat them out at tackle? Or do the three I mentioned above have the guard position locked down?

Kawecki will start at right guard next fall. He was suited up but held out of contact while getting an injury taken care of this spring.
