if you click on the score (e.g. 4-1-0) then it brings up their cards.

I think the cards are slightly ahead of the summary screen

I had noticed the difference occasionally. I assumed it was just a delay in refreshing the screen in my browser. If I close the card and hit refresh (F5) it seems to update the summary screen.

Fierro dropped into a tie on the 18th hole. I'm not sure if they automatically playoff the tie match, or wait to see if the score matters for the overall team score.

It means leading by 3 holes with 2 holes remaining. The match ends at that point, because the trailing player has no chance to tie the match. In other words, Bailey only played 16 holes, because she had clinched the match at that point.

Stanford and Arizona match as close as could be. Four of the five matches are done, with Stanford winning 2 and Arizona winning 2. The fifth and deciding match is tied after 18 holes. Going to extra holes to decide the match.

The Cowgirls semi-final match with Duke was set to begin about 15 minutes ago, but the Texas-Ole Miss quarterfinal is still unresolved. Each team has two wins with the final match tied through 20 holes.

I hate Match play.... it's silly. Takes an effort to make Golf a team sport, and turns it into individual performances.

absolutely silly waste of NCAA time and effort.

I hate it too, but it's all about the $$$$$. Match play is made for TV. The Golf Channel/NBC would never broadcast the NCAA final round live, when one team is leading the field by 20 strokes.

Stanford is likely to be a formidable team next year, since their top five includes two freshmen, two sophomores, and a junior. Coincidentally, the Cowgirls top five are also two freshmen, two sophomores, and a junior. It will be interesting to see how these two teams develop next year.

Which team would we prefer to meet tomorrow? I'm thinking Ole Miss, just because Arizona is one of the local teams. They probably have more experience with the course.

I dunno... I can only think of hotty toddy

Ole Miss is ranked higher (so maybe AZ would be less challenging), and Ole Miss had to play an OT match just to get this far.....
