5-Star Tight End Luke Hasz Includes Oklahoma State In Top Eight

Oklahoma State has recruited Bixby High School extremely well in recent years bringing in receiver Brennan Presley, cornerback Jordan Reagan, defensive end Brendon Evers, walk on receiver Clayton Barbour as well as Braylin Presley being committed in the 2022 class.

That trend continued today as Bixby High School 5-star tight end Luke Hasz released a top eight list which featured the Cowboys.

The full eight consisted of Texas, TCU, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU, Alabama, and Oklahoma State. His top eight comes down from a list of 30 total offers.

Hasz is listed at 6’3 220 pounds but is trending at getting even bigger and stronger. He has a very good frame that allows him to be strong in the blocking game but also elite in the receiving game. He is a very good route runner and an exceptional pass catcher.

Oklahoma State was Luke’s first offer in his recruitment and after he earned that offer, he told me “I was so stoked and excited to hear it! Me and my family were almost in tears.” Being only an hour away from Stillwater and his teammates continuing to head that direction, Oklahoma State has always been an interest of his.

During his sophomore season, Luke racked up 703 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 32 receptions. He averaged 22 yards per reception and a touchdown every 3.5 receptions. He also plays outside linebacker for Bixby.

It will be tough to land Hasz just based off of the schools in play, but Oklahoma State does have some edges that other teams to do not hold so they should be able to stay in play for his commitment through the duration of his recruitment.
