College Football 2022-23 Bowl Schedule Announced Thursday

STILLWATER – The 2022-23 college football bowl game schedule was announced by Bowl Season on Thursday afternoon, which includes 43 games this year, which begin on December 16.

This news comes on the same day the Big 12 announced the non-conference kickoff and TV details, along with the Big 12 Championship and various Big 12 matchups.

According to Bowl Season, most of the game will be televised on ABC and the ESPN family of networks, with CBS, FOX and Barstool Sports broadcasting one game each.

“We’re excited to announce the full slate of bowl games scheduled for next season,” said Nick Carparelli, executive director of Bowl Season. “We’re looking forward to the return of college football. This announcement brings us one step closer to celebrating student-athletes as they make lasting memories during Bowl Season.”

This year’s bowl season kicks off with the HomeTown Lenders Bahamas Bowl on Friday, December 16 at 10:30 a.m. CT, and concluding with the Rose Bowl Game on Jan. 2 at 4 p.m. CT on ESPN.

This year’s College Football Playoff Semifinal games are the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl at either 3 p.m. CT or 8 p.m. CT, with the Fiesta Bowl taking the other time, both kicking off on Dec. 31.

The CFP National Championship game will be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023.
