STILLWATER – Watch Oklahoma State's postgame press conference following a 2-0 win over No. 10 Clemson in the first game of the Stillwater Super Regional.
Pitcher Kelly Maxwell was as good as she’s been all season as she recorded 13 strikeouts, giving up just two hits and one walk in a complete game.
Maxwell is now sitting at 276 total strikeouts on the season.
On the other side of things, Chyenne Factor and Haley Busby were solid from the plate as they went 2-for-2 and 2-for-3 respectively, with Factor driving in the two runs scored by the Cowgirls on a double in the bottom of the fifth inning. That gives her 31 RBIs on the season.
Game two between the two teams is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. CT on Friday, May 27, and will be televised on ESPN2.
