STILLWATER – We’re now getting into the time of year where 2023 basketball prospects are starting to take official visits to schools. Well, you can officially count Oklahoma State as one of those schools as they officially hosted 2023 top-150 point guard, Jaland Lowe.

Lowe is a 6-2, 160-pound point guard out of Fort Bend Marshall High School in Missouri City, TX, a suburb southwest of Houston. He currently holds four offers during this cycle, including Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas State and Texas Tech. There are other schools who have shown interest in Lowe, including Oklahoma and Texas.

According to 247Sports, Lowe is ranked as the No. 140 overall prospect in the class, s well as the No. 19 point guard and the No. 12 overall prospect from Texas. According to composite rankings, Lowe is right on the outside of earning a fourth star.

As most prospects will have to do at the next level, Lowe will need to put on some weight when he arrives at whichever school he’s going to commit to, but there’s a lot to like about his game.

He put up multiple 40-plus point performances this past season as a junior and has a high basketball IQ. He averaged 25.6 points per contest in 18 games, including 8.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 3.6 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.

With Mike Boynton and Co. looking for their first commitment of the 2023 class, Lowe would be a great first addition.
