STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is still on the hunt to land its first prospect in the 2023 class, so offers are still being extended by Mike Boynton and Co. The latest offer went to Ashton Hardaway, a wing out of Duncanville (TX) High School.

Hardaway is 6-7, 195-pounds and currently holds six offers, all coming since the beginning of June. San Diego, Texas State, Texas Tech and Wyoming all offered on June 2, with ORU offering on June 16 and Mike Boynton and Co. on June 25.

This past season as a junior, Hardaway helped Duncanville to a 35-1 overall record, 15-0 in district play, while averaging 10.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, according to the Duncanville MaxPreps page.

Duncanville was a very senior-laden team in 2021-22, which included one of the top prospects in the country in the 2021 class, Anthony Black, as well as one of the top prospects in the 2022 class, Ronald Holland.

With how Hardaway’s recruitment has gone so far this summer, I’d expect schools to continue to show interest in him and offers to keep coming in. Hardaway is currently ranked as the No. 145 overall prospect in the country, the No. 30 overall PF and the No. 14 overall prospect out of Texas, according to the 247Sports composite.
