Oklahoma State Will Close Home Season on Saturday (11/23) at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN+
STILLWATER – A season that since September has gone completely down and because as mystifying as any football season in Oklahoma State history will see its’ final home game this coming Saturday, Nov. 23 at 2:30 p.m. The Cowboys (3-7/0-7) will host Texas Tech (6-4/4-3) inside Boone Pickens Stadium for Senior Day for the OSU and it is also the salute the military and first responders game.
The Big 12 Conference and its’ television sponsors made the game time and television decisions late Saturday after the 17-13 BYU loss to Kansas, knocking the Cougars from the ranks of the unbeatens in college football this season. Oklahoma State and Texas Tech will be televised on ESPN+ as neither team is in contention for the top of the Big 12 standings and both are out of contention for the Big 12 Championship Game in Arlington, Texas.
The last time these two teams played Oklahoma State won 41-31 in Stillwater. OSU leads the series with Texas Tech 24-23-3.
A major reason to be in attendance for the game would be Senior Day and especially the goodbye to Oklahoma State’s now all-time leading receiver in catches in Brennan Presley. Presley has 297 receptions (old record was 293 - Rashaun Woods) for 3,218-yards and 23 touchdowns. Presley also has 5,094-yards of all-purpose production and that puts him in a group of four players that have gone over 5,000-all-purpose-yards at Oklahoma State. He joins Barry Sanders, Thurman Thomas, and Terry Miller. Two are Pro Football Hall-of-Fame inductees in Sanders and Thomas. All three are in the College Football Hall-of-Fame.
