BOULDER, Colo. – Nearing kickoff with the Colorado Buffaloes in the season ending game here at Folsom Field. It is time to take a look at the injuries impacting the game. The theme for the Cowboys on defense continues to the bitter end. Edge rusher Collin Oliver went out against Arkansas in game two with a lower leg/foot injury and he remains out and has declared for the NFL by accepting an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Last year’s Oklahoma State and Big 12 leading tackler in linebacker Nick Martin went out with a knee sprain and he remains sidelined.

Now, defensive tackle Collin Clay went down late in the Texas Tech game and he is done with a serious knee injury. Clay had come back from serious COVID-19 complications and he also has dealt with a torn ACL in his past. Now, he deals with it again.

The Cowboys will turn to Aden Kelley at defensive tackle to get a lot more playing time. Kelley has played in every game this season primarily on special teams. He is part of the shield on punt team.

Other Oklahoma State injuries on defense include safety Cam Epps (knee), and bandit safety Ty Williams (knee).

Over on offense, Oklahoma State will be without quarterbacks Garret Rangel (broken collarbone) and Zane Flores (lower leg/foot). Other offensive injuries in clude offensive tackle Noah McKinney (hamstring), guard Austin Kawecki (bicep rupture), and wide receiver Talyn Shettron (broken hand).

On the Colorado side the significant injuries include wide receiver Omarion Miller (leg). Another receiver Jimmy Horn (fourth on the team in receptions and yards) is questionable. On defense, linebackers Trevor Woods and Jeremiah Brown have chosen to redshirt after playing in four games. Defensive end Dayon Hayes is questionable with an undisclosed injury.
