Williams lined up for man coverage vs. West Virginia.

At Oklahoma State, Williams was a four-year starter that set the OSU career record with 48 starts dating back to 13 starts as a red-shirt freshman in 2017. He finished his Oklahoma State career with 169 tackles, 137 of those unassisted, 31 pass break-ups, sixth all-time at Oklahoma State, and two interceptions. He was named second-team All-Big 12 by the coaches and the Associated Press and was a Senior Bowl participant that did not play in the game due to a muscle pull during practice.

As a senior, Williams was ranked the 20th best cover corner by Pro Football Focus. His best season may have been his sophomore season in 2018 when he had eight break-ups and both of his career interceptions. He picked passes to end drives in the Baylor and Iowa State games.

Williams ran a 4.52 in the forty on his Pro Day and stood out with his excellent change of direction in the 5-10-5 agility drill with a sizzling 4.18-seconds. He also had a 36.5-inch vertical. That leads to Williams great strength which is his ability to contest at the point of the catch and his number of passes defended.
