STILLWATER – We’re officially in official visit season for Oklahoma State basketball and it’s wonderful. We’ve known for a several years Mike Boynton and Co. are aggressive recruiters who aren’t afraid to go after big-time talent and now that the NCAA’s in-person recruiting dead period has lifted, they’re right back to working those big names.

There have already been a few guys who have already completed their visits, Richard “Pop Pop” Isaacs back on June 1-3 and Aidan Shaw is currently on campus.

There are two more scheduled for this week, MJ Rice June 14-16 and Anthony Black June 16-18.

Richard Isaacs – PG – 6-2, 180-pounds

Isaacs is a four-star point guard out of Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, UT and is currently the No. 23 ranked prospect in the country and the No. 3 overall point guard. Wasatch went 18-7 overall this past season, with Isaacs helping lead the way. The junior point guard averaged 14.0 points, 2.4 assists and 1.4 rebounds a game this past season.

He currently holds 22 offers which include some of the top programs in the country: Oklahoma State, Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida State, Gonzaga, Iowa, Kansas, OU, TCU, Texas A&M and Texas Tech among others.

Aidan Shaw – SF – 6-8, 190-pounds

As for Shaw, he’s a four-star small forward out of Blue Valley High School in Stilwell, KS. He’s considered the No. 76 ranked prospect in the class the No. 19 overall small forward in the country. Blue Valley went 11-11 this past season, but Shaw was dominant. He averaged 19.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game.

He also has the rest of his official visits planned out, including Kansas on June 17, Missouri on June 20, Iowa on June 22 and Maryland on June 28. His other offers include Arkansas, Creighton, Iowa State, Kansas State, TCU, Texas, USC and Wichita State among others.

MJ Rice – SF – 6-5, 225-pounds

Rice is a five-star small forward out of Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, VA. He’s considered the No. 18 overall prospect in the country and the No. 6 overall small forward in the country. Rice transferred to Oak Hill from Durham Academy in Durham, NC for his junior season, but will be transferring to another school for his senior season, which has yet to be announced. As a sophomore for Durham, Rice was dominate as he averaged 25 points, nine rebounds and two assists a game.

He holds offers from several schools, including Oklahoma State, Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, NC State, Ole Miss and Pittsburgh among others. There’s also some people who feel he could go pro instead of going to college.

Anthony Black – CG – 6-7, 180-pounds

Black is a four-star combo guard out of Coppell (TX) High School. He’s considered the No. 59 overall prospect in the class and the No. 10 combo guard in the country. This past season as a junior, Black averaged an impressive 16.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2 steals a game, earning him District 6-6A MVP status and a spot on the Dallas Morning News All-Area Second Team.
