Mike Boynton's Back Out on the Recruiting Trail; Watching Five-Star Keyonte George

June has been a solid month for Oklahoma State basketball on the recruiting front. They hosted a litany of some of the top talent in the 2022 class on official visits, and now Mike Boynton is back out on the recruiting trails.

Where was Boynton headed? The TABC Showcase at Duncanville (TX) High School to watch one of OSU’s top prospects in the 2022 class, five-star shooting guard out of iSchool Entrepreneurial Academy in Lewisville, TX, Keyonte George.

George put the Cowboys in his top five list back in May, along with Baylor, Kansas, Kentucky and Texas. As a junior, he averaged 23.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.1 steals per game. George would be a huge land for Boynton and Co. as he’s the No. 6 overall prospect in the 2022 class and would make an immediate impact as soon as he arrived in Stillwater.

However, George wasn’t the only prospect who caught Boynton’s eye as three-star Mansfield (TX) Legacy wing Quion Williams announced an OSU offer Friday evening. In fact, according to several basketball recruiting experts who were in attendance, Williams was one of the top performers and will most likely be a fast riser in the 2022 recruiting rankings.

George and Williams are both teammates on AAU team Southern Assault.

Williams is a 6-4, 185-pound wing who now holds offers from Oklahoma State, Houston, Ole Miss, Saint Louis, TCU, Texas A&M and Texas Tech among others.
