Oklahoma State 2022 Class Moves Back Into Top 15 With Commitment of Shettron Brothers

With the commitments of 2022 Edmond Santa Fe brothers Talyn and Tabry Shettron, Oklahoma State has once again moved into the top 15 in the national rankings.

Oklahoma State, who was at No. 22, has taken over the No. 15 spot, just ahead of Mississippi State and Alabama and is just behind USC. With 13 commitments and sitting in the No. 15 spot, the Cowboys are on pace to stay in the top 15-20 for the rest of this class with a chance of sneaking up to around the No. 10 spot if they finish particularly strong. 

It would be their highest finish is program history.

Talyn is now the highest rated player in the class and one of the highest rated recruits they have ever landed. 

To give some context on the level of recruit these guys are, some of Talyn’s offers include Florida State, Miami, Texas, Texas A&M, Auburn, as well as the obvious in-state schools. Tabry’s offer list, while shorter, has some good names on it including Kansas State, Utah State, Air Force, as well as some of the Ivy Leagues, which also gives you some information on what kind of kid he is in the classroom.

With the brothers committing to Oklahoma State, Mike Gundy and staff has successfully stolen away one of Oklahoma’s prized possessions in this year’s recruiting cycle and once again recruited the state of Oklahoma better than anybody. 

Oklahoma State still has several targets who are set to commit in July and early August so this class will continue to grow over the next couple of weeks.
