Cam McGriff Signs Exhibit 10 Deal With the Charlotte Hornets
STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State forward Cameron McGriff has signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Charlotte Hornets.
This comes after he was extended an invitation to play for the Hornets during the Summer League in August.
McGriff previously played for Okapi Aalstar in Belgium, a team in the top-tier BNXT League. McGriff averaged 13.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
An Exhibit 10 contract is essentially an invite to a team’s training camp, which allows the team to get their eyes on a player without having to extend an offer. However, if McGriff winds up playing for Charlotte’s G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm, he could earn a $50K bonus due to the Exhibit 10 language in his deal.
McGriff played four years at Oklahoma State and was one of the team leaders each of his years in Stillwater. He finished his career averaging 12.3 points and 6.6 rebounds a game his senior season.
