No. 12 Oklahoma State is set for its first Big 12 road game of the season, an 11 a.m. CT kick against No. 25 Texas in Austin.

Can't make it to Austin? Don't worry, Pokes Report has everything you need to follow the action from wherever you are! Be sure to join in on the discussion in the comment section!

The Cowboys are fresh off an open week, key word is fresh. As Robert Allen report Friday night, both Brock Martin and Tyren Irby are both back after missing the past few weeks. There’s also a decent chance we see cowboy back Logan Carter for the first time this season as he made the trip to Austin and is suiting up, but it’s not a guarantee.

Dave Hunziker reported on the Cowboy Radio Network freshman receiver Jaden Bray is out for the game and defensive tackle Jayden Jernigan is questionable.

Pregame

When it comes to uniforms, the Cowboys are going with a classic road look, matte black helmets with the orange brand logo, white jerseys, black pants and black shoes. In my opinion, it’s one of the best looks the Pokes have.

Captains for today’s game are offensive linemen Danny Godlevske and Josh Sills, linebacker Devin Harper and defensive back Demarco Jones.

Texas wins the toss and elects to receive the opening kick. Oklahoma State will start the second half with the ball.

First Quarter

Touchdown: Bijan Robinson gets into the end zone from one-yard out for the score (10:08) Oklahoma State trails 7-0.

Punt: Jaylen Warren with a solid third down gain, but it comes up about a half yard short as Tom Hutton comes out for his first punt of the day.

After a 42-yard punt by Hutton, and a Texas holding call, the Longhorns start the drive on their own 15-yard line.

Punt! Oklahoma State forces a Texas with some pressure by Jayden Jernigan. After an intentional grounding call, Dicker will punt out of the back of his own end zone.

Big plays! After a 14-yard run by Jaylen Warren, Spencer Sanders finds Tay Martin across the middle for 20 yards. First and goal from the Texas nine-yard line.

Field Goal: Sanders nearly connects with Tay Martin with a fade in the corner of the end zone, but Martin records his second drop on the day. Tanner Brown hit a 21-yard field goal (3:41) Oklahoma State trails 7-3.

Field goal: Dicker hits a 28-yard field goal after OSU kept the Longhorns out of the end zone (:58) Oklahoma State trails 10-3.

Second Quarter

Punt! The OSU defense forces another UT three and out and punt! First and 10 OSU from their own 34-yard line.

Punt: Texas forces another Cowboy punt, first and 10 UT from their own 34-yard line.

Touchdown: Thompson funds Robinson from 13-yards out for the score (8:36) Oklahoma State trails 17-3.

Interception: Spencer Sanders throws another high pass to Rashod Owens, but this one is intercepted.

PICK SIX! Jason Taylor II hauls in a pick and returns it 85-yard for a toucdown! (5:13) Oklahoma State trails 17-10.

SACK! Brendon Evers, Israel Antwine and Malcolm Rodriguez bring Casey Thompson down for the sack and a loss of six yards!

HALFTIME

Oklahoma State trails Texas 17-13 going into halftime.

THIRD QUARTER

Touchdown: Robinson gets into the end zone on the ground for the second time today (11:43) Oklahoma State trails 24-13.

Punt: Second-straight failed drive by the Pokes, resulting in another Tom Hutton punt, albeit a 60-yard bomb down to the UT seven-yard line.

PUNT! OSU’s defense forces another UT punt from the back of the UT end zone! Brennan Presley with a fair catch on the Texas 47-yard line.

Field goal! Tanner Brown hits his third FG of the game, this time from 21-yards out! (4:49) Oklahoma State trails Texas 24-16.

PUNT! OSU’s defense forces another UT punt. OSU takes over from their own 19-yard line.

FOURTH QUARTER

PUNT! OSU’s defense forces another UT punt, a 77-yarder that rolls into the end zone for a touchback.

Big play! Jaylen Warren picks up a big 27-yarder down to the UT 33-yard line!

TOUCHDOWN! Spencer Sanders finds Brennan Presley from seven yards out for the score! (10:16) Oklahoma State trails 24-22 after Jaylen Warren fails to get into the end zone on the two-point conversion.

SACK! Collin Oliver picks up his first sack of the day to force another Texas punt!

Big plays! Brennan Presley picks up 17 yards on a reverse, followed by a 20-yard gain on the ground by Jaylen Warren!

Field goal! Tanner Brown hits his fourth FG of the game, this one giving OSU their first lead of the game (4:37) Oklahoma State leads 25-24.

TURNOVER ON DOWNS! Brock Martin records a tackle for loss on 4th and short to give the OSU offense the ball back on the Texas 42-yard line!

INTERCEPTION! Tanner McCallister picks off Casey Thompson to give the Pokes the ball back with less than two minutes remaining!

FINAL

Oklahoma State comes roaring back to win 32-24 on the road.

Alright everyone, what's your score predictions? I like the Pokes 38-28 in this one.

Tanner Brown sends it out of the back of the end zone to start the game. Love it.

Solid opening drive for Texas. Cowboys came up with some stops, but Bijan had other plans. Need Spencer Sanders and the offense to come out firing on this drive.

A three and out is an less than ideal start for the Pokes.

Great series there by the defense to force Dicker to punt out of the back of the Texas end zone. Need some more play like that.

That's Tay Martin's second drop of the day, this time a fade in the corner of the end zone that would've been a touchdown. He's got to haul those in.

Jason Taylor II got burned on that 58-yarder from Thompson to Marcus Washington.

They were, however, able to get off the field by forcing a UT FG. Not too bad I suppose.

Sanders finds Martin for 13 yards and a first down, but Josh Sills is called for holding, which ends up resulting in another OSU punt. Let's see if the defense can have a similar stop as the last UT drive.

The offensive line needs to do a better job protecting Spencer Sanders and opening holes for the backs.

IDK what's going on, but OSU is REALLY struggling to catch the football today. The offensive line needs to do a better job as well.

Jarrick's called for a DPI, which gets Texas closer to the end zone, but that UT TD on the Pokes' offense. OL has to do a better job and the receivers have to do a better job catching the ball. Super weird first half.

Should've had a touchdown before the end of the first half, but poor clock management results in a FG. Still back within four, but could be tied.

Cowboys really need to score some points here on this drive.

Huge stop there by the OSU defense, including another tackle for loss for Collin Oliver. He's having a huge freshman season.

Sorry, Zach….didn't mean to leave you in here all by yourself lol. I've been very focused with the game on Fox. Thought I might pop in to see what folks were thinking about possibly seeing what Illingsworth can do

Honestly I don't think he gives OSU any better of a chance. While he's struggled, Sanders still gives them a better chance with his feet. Illingworth would've been sacked 6+ times today.

Yep…you're right. That last possession showed why you're right, too. And now the defense is playing like their hair's on fire….maybe we are finding a way to win this one

oSu best offenses the last 10 years have been with QBs that aren't dual threat

OK....and your point?...

Let's go enjoy this W, the D, and how the 2021 edition of the Pokes just find a way to win. Including with our dual threat QB
