Oklahoma State-TCU Game Put Into Six-Day Window
STILLWATER – Once again, Oklahoma State is going to have to wait to find out when they’ll play an opponent. It was announced Monday morning the Cowboys’ week 11 game against TCU in Stillwater has been put into a six-day window.
The Big 12 announced one of the games has a kickoff time and TV details, WVU at Kansas State will be an 11 a.m. CT kick on FS1, while OU at Baylor will be either an 11 a.m. or 7 p.m. CT kick on FOX.
The three remaining games, OSU v. TCU, Iowa State at Texas Tech and Kansas at Texas are all in a six-day window.
The Cowboys will be unveiling a Barry Sanders statue prior to the game, as well as inducting the Heisman Trophy winner into the Cowboy football Ring of Honor during the game. The game will also be black out game, so it would be fitting if the Pokes received a night game.
The Horned Frogs became the second program to part ways with the head coach as Gary Patterson and TCU agreed to part ways Sunday evening after 21 seasons in Ft. Worth. Texas Tech was the first as they parted ways with Matt Wells as few weeks ago.
The Cowboys, fresh off a 55-3 win over Kansas for Homecoming and moving to 7-1 on the season and 4-1 in Big 12 play, are back out on the road in Morgantown, WV, this weekend against the Mountaineers with a 2:30 p.m. CT kick. The Mountaineers are coming off one of the bigger upsets in the country as they beat Iowa State 38-31, moving to 4-4 on the season and 2-3 in the Big 12.
