James Washington Shines In Steelers' Loss to Minnesota
Finally. That's the word Oklahoma State fans were saying Thursday night when former Cowboy receiver James Washington was targeted by Ben Roethlisberger multiple times in the same game.
The Steelers trailed 29-0 in the third quarter before Roethlisberger finally started to look Washington’s way. Washington finished the game with a season-high four receptions for 65 yards, the second highest yardage total for him this season, and a touchdown, just his second of the season.
The touchdown came on an impressive 30-yard catch early in the 4th quarter to get the game back within single digits.
Washington is now sitting with 249 yards and two touchdowns on 21 catches.
I hope this game shows Roethlisberger and Tomlin what kind of production and success the Steelers have when they finally decide to throw Washington’s way.
