Highly Coveted 2022 4 Star Athlete Brenen Thompson Names Cowboys Among Top 12

Oklahoma State has started off strong recruiting the class of 2022 in the state of Oklahoma but has also started out strong with out of state prospects as well. 

One of the prospects they have built a very strong relationship with is Spearman, Texas, athlete Brenen Thompson. 

This was solidified on Wednesday night when Thompson trimmed down his offer list of 32 teams and released a top 12 list which included the Cowboys. Joining them is Texas A&M, Clemson, Nebraska, Auburn, Texas, Stanford, Oklahoma, Alabama, Oregon, Georgia and Texas Tech.

Thompson is a 5’10 170 pound prospect that plays running back, slot receiver and wild cat quarterback while on offense and plays defensive back while on defense. 

He is a very physical player and has a knack for making plays with the ball in his hands. His main trait that you will notice on tape is his speed, which is among the best of the 2022 class. He has posted one of the fastest 100 meter dashes in the nation with a 10.32 and followed it up with a 21.51 second 220 meter dash. 

Thompson has told me in the past that he has a great relationship with Coach John Wozniak but that “the entire staff has been awesome”.
