STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is one step close to potentially landing its first prospect in the 2023 class as they made the top 7 for five-star center, Aaron Bradshaw.

Along with the Cowboys is Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, UCLA and the G League.

Bradshaw made the announcement via his Instagram account.

Bradshaw is a seven-foot, 210-pound center out of Camden HS out of New Jersey. He’s currently listed as the No. 24 overall prospect in the country, the No. 2 overall center and the No. 4 prospect out of New Jersey, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

He’s had a solid spring so far in the Nike EYBL, averaging 14.0 points on 68% shooting, 7.5 rebounds and 4.3 blocks per game for the NJ Scholars, leading to him being named the Defensive MVP following the stop in Orlando. They’ve played only four games, but his game is really clean and he’s expected to have a big summer on the tour.

Bradshaw was in Stillwater on an official visit this past November, so there’s definitely a relationship and foundation with the coaching staff. The only problem with taking an official so early in the process is that he still has three official visits left and it might be tough to get him back to Stillwater on an unofficial before making his decision.

Mike Boynton and Co. are still looking to land their first prospect in the 2023 class following the decommitment of four-star Bixby shooting guard, Parker Friedrichsen. There’s still plenty of time left in this recruiting cycle, so there’s no reason to panic yet.
