STILLWATER, Okla. --- Oklahoma State men's basketball head coach Mike Boynton announced the signing of two-time All-Sun Belt selection Caleb Asberry on Wednesday.

An NABC All-District 23 Second Team pick in 2022, Asberry is set to join the Cowboys after three successful seasons at Texas State under the direction of Terrence Johnson.

This past season, he was named to the All-Sun Belt First Team and was a two-time Sun Belt Player of the Week as he became the first player in program history to earn back-to-back All-District honors from the NABC.

He started all 29 games, the only Bobcat to do so, as he led the team in scoring with a career-best 13.6 points per game. He also paced the team in minutes played, steals and three-pointers made.

A native of Pflugerville, Texas, Asberry is just 88 points away from 1,000 points in his NCAA Division I career after starting his career at Ranger College.

"Caleb Asberry is a flat out winner," Boynton said. "He's won at every level and has had some great coaching while doing so. Caleb is a big time shot maker and great competitor. He will bring experience and versatility to the table from day one. Caleb was raised in a family of athletes and the foundation of hard work was laid very early for him. We look forward to him making a positive impact in our locker room and on the court.

Asberry will join Oklahoma State an incoming fifth-year student-athlete.
