Oklahoma State Basketball Releases Non-Conference Schedule
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men’s basketball has released its non-conference schedule ahead of the 2022-23 season, which features matchups against two NCAA tournament teams.
The Cowboys will kick things off against Ouachita Baptist in the lone exhibition game on the schedule, before officially starting the season at home on November 7 against UT-Arlington. This is a rematch from last season as the Cowboys won that one, 88-45, with Moussa Cisse leading the way in points with 17 and nine rebounds.
The Cowboys will host Southern Illinois on Nov. 10 as part of a two-game homestand, before heading up to Detroit, MI, to face Oakland on Nov. 13.
Following a trip to Detroit, the Pokes will head south for a pair of games in the Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championships, starting Nov. 18 against Central Florida. They’ll finish their trip to the Bahamas on Nov. 20 against either DePaul or Santa Clara.
Another two-game homestand for the Cowboys begins on Nov. 25 against Tulsa, followed by Prairie View A&M on Nov. 27.
Back on the road, but this time as part of the Big 12/Big East Challenge as the Pokes will face UConn on Dec. 1.
A few days off and the Pokes will host Sam Houston on Dec. 6 before heading to Brooklyn for a neutral-site game against Virginia Tech on Dec. 11, before a road game against Wichita State on Dec. 17 in Wichita.
The Cowboys round out their 2022 non-conference slate of game against Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Dec. 20, before facing Ole Miss on Jan. 28, as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
