OSU Hoops: Chris Harris To Miss Rest of the Season
STILLWATER – While it was probably the expected outcome, the news is still disappointing to hear. According to Mike Boynton during his weekly radio show last night, sophomore guard Chris Harris is going to miss the remainder of the 2020-21 season with an ACL injury.
This is difficult news because Harris really progressed defensively throughout the 22 games he played in last season and was set to have a solid sophomore season.
Harris was back this season for the first time since tearing his ACL last season against TCU on Feb. 5 and having season-ending surgery a few weeks later. Harris played just six minutes of the 2020-21 season opener against UT Arlington and score four points and one steal before leaving the game after re-aggravating the same knee.
He finished the 2019-20 season averaging 3.3 points and 1.0 rebound per game and he finished the first game of the 2020-21 season with four points and one steal.
