STILLWATER – Oklahoma State safety and special teams captain Kanion Williams has announced he’s entered the transfer portal.

The redshirt senior out of Dallas, TX, has spent the majority of his time in Stillwater as a special teams contributor, including being voted as the special teams captain by his teammates following the 2021 season.

This season, Williams played in six games before suffering a season-ending injury. In those six games, he recorded six total tackles, five of which were solo stops.

He played in 12 games last season, recorded seven total tackles, including three in the win at Texas and one against Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl win.

The 2020 season was his most productive season in Stillwater as he recorded 11 total tackles, eight of which were solo stops, with three coming against Kansas and four against Texas Tech. He also recorded a quarterback hurry in the Cheez-It Bowl win over Miami.

He recorded nine total tackles in nine games in 2019 and recorded two tackles in four games before redshirting in 2018.
