Cowboy Hoops to Resume Practice Thursday

STILLWATER – A source has confirmed to Pokes Report that after nearly a week out of the facilities in quarantine due to COVID-19 issues, Oklahoma State basketball is back to practice on Thursday.

It was first reported by CBS Sports via Twitter.

The Cowboys shut down all team activities last Friday due to a positive COVID-19 result within the program and contract testing. The game against West Virginia this past Tuesday Jan. 19 had already been postponed due to COVID issues within the Mountaineer program, but the first Bedlam game of the season on Jan. 16 had to be postponed as well.

Now out of quarantine and back at practice, the Cowboys have a tough task ahead of they’ll have two days to prepare for the No. 2 Baylor in Stillwater this coming Saturday, Jan. 23. The Bears are averaging 86.5 points per game this season and are led by Jared Butler who’s averaging 16.7 points on 28.6 minutes per game.
