DEBRECEN, Hungary -- Oklahoma State freshman Eric Dailey Jr. and the United States are two wins away from a gold medal at the FIBA U19 World Cup after Friday's 105-61 quarterfinal win over Japan.

Dailey finished with 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting while stuffing the box score with five rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals in 16 minutes.

The 6-foot-8 forward is averaging 11.0 points for the tournament and is the only one of the 12 American players who have scored in double-figures in all five contests.

Dailey's six first-quarter points helped the U.S. stake a 23-21 lead after 10 minutes. His dunk with 30 seconds left in the first half pushed the margin to a dozen.

As has been the case all week, the Americans wore down the opposition with fresh legs, pulling away with a 57-25 second half.

For the game, the U.S. outscored Japan 29-4 off turnovers and 70-28 in the paint.

Team USA (5-0) will face either France or Serbia in Saturday's semifinal round (10:30 a.m. CT) opposite Spain and Turkey. All games stream live and on demand for free at youtube.com/FIBA.
