2022 4 Star Cornerback Austin Jordan Features Oklahoma State In Top 10
One of the top cornerbacks in the nation. 2022 Denton Ryan’s Austin Jordan, has included Oklahoma State in his newly released top 10. And it is a strong one.
In the top 10 are the Cowboys, Notre Dame, Texas, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, USC, Texas A&M, and Auburn.
Jordan, 5’11 and 185 pounds, is a top 100 national prospect and is considered to be a top three cornerback in the state of Texas. The Cowboys have been recruiting Jordan since they offered him as a sophomore in December 2019.
Like most of Oklahoma State’s targets, Jordan excels in more than one sport. On the field, speed is a big factor of Jordan’s game and it shows up on the track. As a freshman, Jordan posted a 10.98 100 meter dash as well as a 22.08 200 meter. One year later, Jordan was named the Texas District 4-5A-2 Defensive Newcomer of the Year and has just helped Denton Ryan go undefeated, winning a state championship.
I was on hand for two of Jordan’s playoff games just a few weeks ago, where he was part of one of the most shutdown defenses in Texas.
Oklahoma State recently picked up their first cornerback commitment in the class of 2022 with St. Louis, Missouri prospect Cameron Epps. The staff is looking to bring in a minimum of three cornerbacks in this class.
