Oklahoma State to Host Texas Tech for Senior Night in GIA

STILLWATER – The 2023-24 season is nearly over for Oklahoma State as they’re hosting Texas Tech for Senior Night on Tuesday.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT and will be streamed on ESPN+.

The Cowboys are coming off a bad road loss this past weekend as they got beat by Texas, 81-65, to fall to 12-17 overall on the season and 4-12 in Big 12 play. As for the Red Raiders, they’re coming off an 81-70 road win over West Virginia to move to 20-9 overall on the season and 9-7 in Big 12 play, tied for fourth in the conference.

The program will be honoring six seniors in a pregame ceremony, with Cowboy John-Michael Wright leading the way. The other players are Weston Church, Jarius Hicklen, Brooks Manzer, Mike Marsh and Carson Sager. 

During his two seasons in Stillwater, Wright has been a leader on and off the court for the Pokes, averaging 9.0 points per game this season and 10 points last season, starting in nearly every game he’s played in these past two seasons.

As for the Red Raiders, they’re having a great season, averaging 76 points per game, while holding opponents to just 72 points per game. They’re shooting the ball at a high clip as well, averaging 45% from the field, 37% from 3-point range and 78% from the free throw line.

Sophomore Pop Isaacs is one of the main reasons for their success as he’s posting nearly 16 points per game on 35% shooting from the floor. Senior Joe Toussaint is also having a solid season as he’s averaging nearly 13 points per game.

As far as rebounding goes, Darrion Williams is leading the charge in conference play with eight boards per game. He’s also posting nearly 13 points per game on 35% shooting from the field and a blistering 50% from 3-point range.
