This comes just a few days after it was report freshman forward Eric Dailey Jr. would be joining fellow freshman Brandon Garrison in the portal.

We’re not sure about Williams yet, but as we reported last week, both Dailey and Garrison are willing to wait and hear what the new coach has to say before making a decision to officially transfer out.

This past season, Williams posted 7.5 points on 48% shooting from the field, while leading the team in both rebounds and steals with 5.5 boards per game and 34 takeaways on the year.

Williams, who appeared in all 32 games this past season with 28 starts, improved in terms of physicality from year one to year two, but finished this season with 61 turnovers, up from 33 last season as a freshman.

Originally out of Jonesboro, AR, Williams appeared in 34 games as a true freshman last season, averaging 3.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Oklahoma State announced the firing of Mike Boynton back on March 14 and an announcement about a new head coach has yet to be made.
