STILLWATER – It was announced on Wednesday Oklahoma State men’s basketball coach Steve Lutz is retaining assistant coach Keiton Page.

"After visiting with Keiton, it was clear that our values and priorities align," Lutz said in the release from the program. "I'm delighted to have him on our bench. His work ethic, basketball knowledge, leadership skills, and deep-rooted connection to Oklahoma State will be invaluable as we rebuild Cowboy Basketball."

This will mark Page’s 17th overall season with the Cowboys as both a player and a coach.

Page has been on staff is some capacity the past 11 seasons under the three former coaches, Travis Ford, Brad Underwood and Mike Boynton, before being elevated to a full-time assistant coach this past spring.

During his time as a standout player in Stillwater, Page was a two-time All-Big 12 selection and four-year starter from 2008-12. He’s currently 10th all-time in career scoring at Oklahoma State with 1,651 points and second all-time in 3-point makes with 299.

This news comes after reports on Tuesday evening Lutz had added Mississippi State associate head coach, James Miller, to the staff.
