STILLWATER – The Big 12-Big East match ups are set, and Oklahoma State is set to face the reigning NIT champs, Seton Hall.

The game will be played in New Jersey at Seton Hall and will take place on December 8. Tipoff time and television details will be announced at a later date.

Here are the rest of the match ups, which features some really good games.

The Pirates finished the 2023-24 season with a 25-12 overall record, 13-7 in Big East play, which put them fourth in the conference. As written above, they won the NIT this past season, beating the Cinderalla team of last season, Indiana State, 79-77.

As a team, they averaged nearly 74 points per game on 45% shooting from the field and nearly 34% from 3-point range. They held their opponents to nearly 70 points per game on 42% shooting from the field. In rebounding, they averaged 37.3 per game, while giving up 32.5 on the other end. They also forced 12.2 turnovers per game, while committing 12.6 turnovers on the other end.

This game will mark just the second time these two teams have faced each other, with the first taking place in the 2000 East Regional Semifinals in Syracuse, N.Y., a game in which the Cowboys won 68-66.

These two teams are going to look totally different next season as new Oklahoma State head coach Steve Lutz has to fill nine scholarship spots, with five players in the transfer portal. As for Seton Hall, they currently have five players in the transfer portal.
