Oklahoma State Lands Commitment From 2025 Utah Tight End Jordan Vyborny

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State football’s success on the recruiting trail continues as they just landed a commitment from a talented tight end in the 2025 class, Jordan Vyborny.

Vyborny, who checks in at 6-5, 230 pounds, is out of Corner Canyon in Draper, UT, and chose the Cowboys over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, BYU, Boise State, California, Iowa State, Kansas, Michigan State, Oregon State, Texas A&M, Utah, Washington State and Wisconsin among others.

The Cowboys’ recruiting staff really became interested in Vyborny on an unofficial visit back in March and that interest only grew over the next month, leading up to his official visit in early April.

A move was made from Harlem High School in Machesney Park, Ill, ahead of the upcoming season, but Vyborny proved quite a bit with Harlem as not only solid pass catcher, but as a proven blocker. So, with the Cowboys moving away from the hybrid cowboy back and back to more traditional tight ends and full backs, the addition of Vyborny is a good one for the Pokes.

As you can see from his Hudl highlights, Vyborny was lined up both outside as a big receiver target, where he was able to use his speed and size to break through and get past defenders. He also lined up at the end of the line as a tight end, where he was able to use himself as a decoy, as well as break off from a block as a receiving TE.

Vyborny makes the 10th commitment in the 2025 class, and the ninth on the offensive side of the ball. Defensive end out of Wichita Kapaun Mt.
