Report: Oklahoma State Hosting 2024 Four-Star Forward Sammie Yeanay
STILLWATER – According to a report from 24/7 High School Hoops on Twitter/X, Oklahoma State and Steve Lutz is hosting a 2024 four-star prospect.
Sammie Yeanay, who checks in at 6-8, 230 pounds, is originally out of Gainesville, FL, played for Compass Prep out of Chandler, AZ this past year. He’s currently ranked as the 90th overall prospect in the 2024 class in the ESPN Top 100 prospects.
He holds some pretty solid offers, including Arizona State, Alabama, Florida, Houston, Texas Tech, Virginia Tech and Washington State.
What’s interesting about the offers he holds is that he was previous committed and signed with Arizona State, before decommitting back on May 29. So, it will be interesting to see which program honors those previous offers considering most programs will have already fill their classes by this point.
But like Oklahoma State, coaching changes certainly change a lot of things with a roster. Looking at the Cowboy roster going into the summer months, Lutz and Co. have currently signed two transfer forwards, Robert Jennings II and Marchelus Avery, and center Abou Ousmane.
So, size down low is certainly a priority for the coaching staff.
