Final NFL Roster Cuts: Cowboys Who Made 53-Man Rosters

STILLWATER – NFL cut day is always a stressful time for players on the cusp of making their dreams come true, especially if they made it all the way to final cut day. By this point, we know who made their respective rosters and who didn’t.

We’ll start with the positives and who made rosters, starting with the Chicago Bears as both Amen Ogbongbemiga and Teven Jenkins are on the final roster.

While the Ravens don’t typically release their roster until late in the day, both Justice Hill and Tylan Wallace are expected to make the final roster.

With a sigh of relief, the Detroit Lions are keeping linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez. There were rumors circulating around the Detroit metro Rodrigo could be cut following an injury-filled preseason.

Emmanuel Ogbah is sticking around in Miami following a solid preseason and Chuba Hubbard continues to make an impact in Carolina as he’s slotted to be the starting running back for the Panthers.

Speaking of talented NFL running backs, Jaylen Warren is sticking around with the Pittsburgh Steelers and will take a good chunk of the work load this season and former Steelers quarterback, Mason Rudolph, was named the backup quarterback for the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday.

Now for good and bad news for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tre Flowers was cut, but fully qualifies for NFL retirement benefits should he not land with another team, but defensive end Tyler Lacy was placed on the 53-man.

Now for the bad news as the Rams released both Jason Taylor II and Anthony Goodlow. However, there’s no chance the Rams don’t re-sign at least JT to the practice squad should he clear waivers.

The Cincinnati Bengals waived running back Elijah Collins, the San Francisco 49ers waived Tay Martin, and the Dallas Cowboys terminated the contract of wide receiver, Tyron Billy-Johnson, who’s a vest veteran, meaning he qualifies for retirement benefits should he not get picked up by another team.

Pokes Report will have full coverage of the former OSU football players in the NFL this upcoming season.

Dumb move by the LA Rams to cut Goodlowe! He was one of their most productive lineman in preseason and looked better than a couple of their veterans when it came to making plays!

Goodlow and JT were just so good throughout the preseason. Id be shocked if they didn't sign at least one of them to the practice squad.
