STILLWATER – Steve Lutz just landed his first commitment in the 2025 class as four-star shooting guard, Ryan Crotty, has committed to Oklahoma State.

Crotty took to his Instagram account to make the announcement official.

Crotty checks in at 6-5, 180 pounds, is out of Miller School and Charlottesville, Virginia, and is coming off his official visit to Stillwater this past weekend.

At the time of his commitment to the Pokes, Crotty held 17 offers, including Butler, Clemson, Harvard, Indiana State, Iowa, Maryland, Miami, Mississippi State, Virginia Tech and West Virginia among others.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Crotty is the No. 107 ranked prospect in the country, the No. 25 SF and the No. 4 player out of Virginia.

While recruiting services list him as a small forward, he’ll be a shooting guard in college.

This past season as a junior, Crotty broke and set the all-time Virginia record, both public and private, for three-pointers made in the single season with 142. The previous record was held by Walker Andres, who made 127. His abilities from three-point range helped the Mavericks win the VISAA DII state championship.
