STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is set to face Texas Tech this coming Saturday for Senior Day. Kickoff was announced for 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
On Monday, Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy met with the media to discuss the game, this group of seniors and how the future of college football could change future Senior Days.
The quote we’re using below is Gundy on how he and the coaching staff is going about keeping his team motivated following the 0-7 record in Big 12 play.
"Well, there's a game. It's competition, same thing that I would say each week, and that when these guys walk on campus, they should be committed to themselves and to the team and then to whoever helped get them here and their family, or whoever raised them and put a lot into them. And so, either way, the most important thing that they can do is continue to train and work and stay together and compete, which they have. They've done a great job. They practiced really well last week, and I would expect them to practice really well this week."
