While the outcome wasn’t what Oklahoma State wanted as they lost to Texas 91-86 in the Big 12 championship game, Cowboy guards Avery Anderson III and Cade Cunningham are going home with hardware.

Anderson and Cunningham were tabbed to the Big 12’s All-Tournament team following the game.

Anderson finished the tournament with 47 points on 18-of-36 shooting from the field with 12 rebounds and seven assists.

As for Cunningham, he finished the tournament with 71 points on 24-of-54 shooting from the field with 19 rebounds and 12 assists. His 71-point performance marks 7th all-time in a single Big 12 tournament conference history.

Through the Big 12 tournament, Cade has combined for 505 points on the season. That’s just 17 shy of breaking the Oklahoma State single-season scoring record of 521 points set by Richard Dumas back during the 1987-88 season. He is also just the third freshman in program history to score 500 or more points in the season, joining Dumas and, of course, Marcus Smart.

Texas guard Matt Cole III and forward Jericho Sims, along with Baylor guard MaCio Teague also made the All-Tournament team.

The Cowboys will find out their seed and first round matchup in the NCAA tournament as selection Sunday takes place tomorrow, March 14 at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.
