Watch: Steve Lutz Talks Pokes' Utah Road Trip

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is set to make the trip out west to Salt Lake City and Provo as the Cowboys kick the trip off on Saturday against Utah. This comes a few days after the first Big 12 win of the Steve Lutz era with the win over Kansas State.

Lutz met with the media on Thursday afternoon to discuss the road trip and put a bow on the K-State win and how the Pokes can use it moving forward.

Win at Utah and you feel this team has a chance to make some noise. Certainly appears we have a center that can help this coach have some success.

Yeah I absolutely agree. Utah's not a good team, Kansas State either, but OSU is close to putting it together and if you're able to at the very least spilt the Utah trip, you feel good about getting 6-8 wins in conference. They still need a lot to happen to make the NCAA tournament, but it gives a lot of hope heading into the offseason and recruiting the portal for next season.
