Oklahoma State to Host Red-Hot Arizona Wildcats on Tuesday

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State, coming off an 83-73 Remember the Ten win over Colorado on Saturday, is looking to continue the success as the Pokes play host to red-hot Arizona on Tuesday. 

Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPNU.

The Wildcats (11-6 overall, 5-1 Big 12 play) are coming off a rather disappointing road loss to Texas Tech on Saturday, 70-54, but had won five-straight games to start Big 12 play. That includes three wins over ranked opponents – No. 16 Cincinnati, No. 21 West Virginia and No. 25 Baylor – a solid start for a new or existing Big 12 team.

They’re averaging an impressive 82.4 points per game on the season, and nearly 77 points per game in Big 12 play. They’re leading the Big 12 shooting 47% from the floor and fourth in the conference with 34% from 3-point range.

The Wildcats are eighth in the conference in rebounds per game with nearly 36 and eighth in turnover margin of 0.5 and leading the conference with a 1.66 assist/turnover ratio.

Caleb Love is leading Arizona with 15 points per game on 39% shooting from the floor.

Jaden Bradley’s averaging 11.6 points per game on 48% shooting and KJ Lewis is posting 10.2 points per game on 49% shooting from the floor. 

Tobe Awaka is leading the team in rebounds with 7.4 per game, while also averaging nearly eight points per game on 57% shooting from the floor.

This is going to be a challenging game for the Pokes but not impossible. They’ll need to put it all together on Tuesday if they want to beat Arizona and separate themselves from the bottom of the league.
