Oklahoma State Looking to Complete Season Sweep of Kansas State

Oklahoma State is looking to make it three-straight wins over Kansas State as they travel up to Manhattan, KS, for a showdown with the Wildcats tonight.

Tipoff for the game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and it will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.

The Cowboys are coming off a 64-54 road loss to Texas Tech this past weekend, while the Wildcats found a way to knock off No. 23 West Virginia in Manhattan over the weekend, 73-60. The win moved to them 8-11 on the season and gave them their second win in Big 12 play.

Despite the disappointing play this season, and average play last season for the Wildcats, Jerome Tang is now 11-3 at home versus AP Top 25 opponents, including a 2-1 record this season.

So, even with the struggles, the Wildcats are a dangerous opponent at home, and the Cowboys haven’t had too much success on the road in Big 12 play.

The Wildcats are averaging 65.1 points per game on 43% shooting from the floor in conference play, while allowing 71.4 points per game on the other end.

Coleman Hawkins is leading the way for the Wildcats in conference play with 12.8 points on 42% shooting from the floor per game. On the other hand, he’s shooting just 29% from 3-point range. He is sixth in the conference with 4.6 assists per game.

David N’Guessan is second on the team in conference play with 11.4 points per game on 60% shooting from the floor. He’s leading the team with 7.8 rebounds per game.
