STILLWATER – Oklahoma State senior guard, Bryce Thompson, was tabbed Big 12 Honorable Mention in his final year with the program.

BT had his best collegiate season this year for head coach Steve Lutz. He posted a career-high 12.6 points per game overall on the season on 43% shooting from the floor, but he posted an even better 13.5 points per game in conference play.

He posted a career-high 25 points nearly a month ago against UCF, shooting 67% from the floor.

From that point, Thompson had a great stretch to end the season, except for the second game against UCF, as he dropped 21 points against Kansas, 11 in the upset win over No. 9 Iowa State, 19 on the road at Baylor and 16 in the Senior Day win over Cincinnati over the weekend.

He finished conference play scoring double figures in 15 of the 20 games, clearing the 20-point mark four times.

He’s now 18th all-time in scoring in program history with 1,415 points and tied for eighth in games started with 109.

Thompson will have at least one more game to try and improve upon his season and career standing with the Pokes as they face Cincinnati Tuesday morning at 11:30 a.m. in the opening round of the Big 12 tournament.
