STILLWATER – It’s Selection Sunday, so what better time than now to look at the Pokes’ postseason chances.

It was an up and down season for Oklahoma State in 2024-25, the first year of head coach Steve Lutz’ tenure here in Stillwater. The Cowboys finished with a 15-17 overall record and 7-13 in Big 12 play, but recorded a big-time win over No. 9 Iowa State in GIA, as well as recorded more road wins than last year’s team.

Let miserable basketball end! This clown show couldn't string enough effort and execution to have a winning season. They showed no mental toughness going winless on the road and with a losing record that indicates what they are as your record shows what kind of team you are.

Our HEAD COACH does not agree with you, nor do I, and we DID NOT go "winless on the road", according to this article...

"recorded a big-time win over No. 9 Iowa State in GIA, as well as recorded more road wins than last year's team"

a "losing record" could mean many things, and UAUALLY NOT "what kind of team you are". We had early losses when the team was all new, we had some injury, as well as the new conference members that we've never faced, and we are a much better team than we were for much of that win/loss record.

Why do you wish to punish the team simply because they did not meet your unrealistic expectations?

Nobody need be punished or made an example of... at what point in your life did college sports cause you to lose your humanity? They are kids, not clowns.

In conference they were winless on the road that's what I referred to.

They're paid to play now. They may be kids but are paid to play basketball and their record shows what they are compared to the competition. It has always been that way as to what is achieved. This bunch was near or at the bottom of a sixteen team league just like our football team. Simply a bad team compared to the competition and most don't wish to watch more bad basketball.
