
Two Oklahoma State Guards Enter the Transfer Portal
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State now has four roster spots to fill as the guard pair of Arturo Dean and Khalil Brantley both entered the transfer portal on Saturday.
It was announced during the Cowboy football spring game Dean was entering and it was announced Saturday evening Brantley was entering. The pair come as a bit of surprise because the transfer portal closes in less than three days. And it was assumed Brantley had exhausted his eligibility.
Dean was fourth on the stat sheet this past season for the Pokes, averaging nearly eight points and three rebounds per game. He also averaged just over three assists per game, for a total of 116 on the season. He had 84 steals and 80 turnovers.
Dean played in 34 games, starting in 21.
As for Brantley, he averaged just over six points per game and 2.6 rebounds per game. He played in 34 games this past season, starting in 14.
Lutz and Co. now have nine scholarship spots filled, with Brantley, Dean, Connor Dow, Jamyron Keller and Mikey Kelvin II in the portal, and the additions of Mississippi State guard guards Kanye Clary, Seton Hall guard Isaiah Coleman, Green Bay guard Anthony Roy, LSU guard Vyctorius Miller and Oregon State forward Parsa Fallah. The only two returning players on the roster are big man Andrija Vukovic and Robert Jennings II, and they’ve signed a the trio of high school players in guard Ryan Crotty and big men Mekhi Ragland and Ben Ahmed.
