STILLWATER – It appears Bedlam Basketball 2025 is headed back to Oklahoma City. According to report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Bedlam is set to be played in the Paycom Center in Bricktown on December 13.

This is the first non-conference match up announced for the Cowboys.

This will be the second non-conference Bedlam match up between the Pokes and OU, with the Sooners taking the game this past December 80-65.

Steve Lutz and Co. and put together nearly the entire roster for the upcoming season, having signed seven players out of the transfer portal, with Mississippi State guard, Kanye Clary, UAB transfer forward, Christian Coleman, Seton Hall guard, Isaiah Coleman, UMass point guard, Jaylen Curry, Oregon State forward, Parsa Fallah, LSU guard, Vyctorius Miller and Green Bay guard, Anthony Roy.

Robert Jennings II and Andrija Vukovic are the two returning players, who are being joined by high school players guard Ryan Crotty and big men Mekhi Ragland and Ben Ahmed.

This team, which still have a few spots left to fill out of the portal, look to improve from the first year under coach Lutz, where the Cowboys went 17-18 overall and 7-13 in Big 12 play in 2024-25.

I hope we're making a boat load of money off of this... a big boat load.

I would imagine there's got to be a split of the gate and concessions or something. Maybe a split of TV rev. Definitely something I'll ask coach Lutz next time I see him.

yes, I agree, but I was thinking more of playing the goons in the first damn place, and then also having to play them in their backyard.

This crap needs to change unless we're getting mega bucks

That's one thing we talked about on my show yesterday. I'm not that old, so I don't really have an issue playing OU. I'm not going to judge or criticize those that do, that's just how I feel. But if the series is going to continue to be played at neutral sites, which it appears it is for the time being, I would want it to be one year at Paycom and the next at the BOK.

To be clear, I was not criticizing others, perhaps some were on your show, but I was expressing the only way playing OU would benefit us is if we won like 20 of 25 recent games, and gained a permanent recruiting advantage. We didn't beat them all that many times even when Eddie was coach.

If playing them is not benefiting us wildly monetarily, then it is only hurting us.

To me it's not a matter of how I feel, it's a matter of wanting to see OSU prosper. I am certain we could get better opponents on better terms.

I wasn't saying you were, I just wanted to clarify that I don't really care one way or the other.
