
Oklahoma State To Face Auburn in Preseason Exhibition
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State basketball is going to be tested and tested early as the Pokes will face Auburn in a preseason exhibition in Birmingham, AL.
“Excited about the matchup with Oklahoma State,” said Auburn associate head coach Steven Pearl in a release. “They’re in a very similar position to us. They return one person from last year.”
Auburn is coming off winning the SEC regular season championship and advancing all the way to the Final Four where they fell eventual national champions, Florida, 79-73. They finished the season with a 32-6 overall record, 15-3 in SEC play.
As for the Cowboys, they improved upon their 2024 season by going 17-18 overall in 2024-25, 7-13 in Big 12 play with an impressive 13-4 record at home. That home record including an impressive 74-68 upset win over No. 9 Iowa State and an 86-73 win over Arizona State.
