STILLWATER – We’re still waiting for Oklahoma State to release its 2025-26 non-conference schedule, but it appears the Cowboys will start their season off at home against ORU on November 4th.
This marks the fourth non-conference game on the Pokes’ schedule this winter, which includes Texas A&M on Nov. 9 in Stillwater, Grand Canyon in Arizona in early December and Oklahoma at Paycom Center on Dec. 13.
The Pokes currently hold a 21-5 advantage over ORU, including 14-1 in Stillwater, in a series which dates back to December 6, 1975. They’re also 8-2 in the last 10 match ups.
The Cowboys hosted the Golden Eagles last year on Dec. 22, resulting in an 86-74 win for the Pokes. It was one of 17 wins the Cowboys recorded last year, finishing 17-18 overall and 7-13 in Big 12 play.
The season featured a 74-68 upset win over No. 9 Iowa State and an 86-73 win over a good Arizona State team in Stillwater.
The Cowboys missed the NCAA tournament, but made it three games into the NIT, with an 89-79 win over Wichita State in Stillwater and an 85-83 win over SMU in Dallas. They fell to North Texas 61-59 in the quarterfinals in Stillwater.
