Owasso 2026 Standout Jalen Montonati Updates Oklahoma State Official Visit Date
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State’s top target in the 2026 class, Owasso standout Jalen Montonati, has updated the date he’ll be in Stillwater for his official visit. His dad and head coach, former Cowboy standout Brian Montonati, told Tom Dirato of Triple Play Sports Radio Jalen will be in Stillwater the weekend of September 27, the weekend of the football game against Baylor.
This is up from the original date of October 18, the weekend of Homecoming.
Montonati is fresh off an official visit to Norman and OU this past weekend, and everything we’ve heard at Pokes Report is it was a great visit. So, moving his OSU official up nearly an entire month is a good thing for the Pokes.
Head coach Steve Lutz was over in Owasso two days ago to check up on Jalen. Pokes Report has learned Lutz and Co. are pouring just about everything they have into landing Jalen.
Jalen, a 6-7, 175-pound small forward/wing, is the No. 58 overall prospect in the 2026 class, the No. 23 overall small forward in the country and the No. 1 overall prospect in Oklahoma, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
