STILLWATER – Oklahoma State just landed top 30 prospect in the 2026 class, Latrell Allmond.
Allmond chose the Pokes over Indiana, Maryland, Tennessee and Virginia, joining top 60 prospect Jalen Montonati to give Oklahoma State a top 10 recruiting class in the country. Allmond is also the highest-rated prospect to commit to the Pokes since Cade Cunningham in the 2020 class.
He checks in at 6-8, 225 pounds and is the No. 27 overall prospect in the ’26 class, the No. 6 overall power forward and the No. 2 overall prospect out of Virginia. He set to begin his senior season for Petersburg (VA) HS, and is originally out of Richmond, VA, which is just a short distance north of Petersburg.
He played the first three years of his high school career at John Marshall in Richmond, where he averaged nearly 22 points., eight rebounds, 1.4 assists 1.7 steals and just over two blocks per game as a junior. He also shot an impressive 66% from the floor and 44% from 3-point range. While at John Marshall, he was named the Virginia Class 2 Player of the Year and won a state title.
This summer on the 3SSB League, the Adidas summer league, Allmond averaged nearly 15 points and just over seven rebounds per game. He also had just over one assist and nearly two blocks per game.
Allmond was in Stillwater on his official visit the weekend of September 19.
