Former Broken Arrow standout running back, now Texas Tech cornerback Maurion Horn is set to visit Oklahoma State on Monday.
Horn chose the Red Raiders straight out of high school and has been there since the 2022 season, his redshirt season as a member of the scout team. His breakout season came in 2024, in which he played in 13 games and recorded 56 total tackles, 31 of which were solo stops. He also had five pass break ups. He had three tackles and two pass break ups against the Pokes in the Red Raiders’ 56-48 win in Stillwater.
This past season as a junior, Horn played in just seven games as he dealt with injuries off and on throughout the year. He recorded just four total tackles and three pass break ups.
Horn checks in at 5-11, 190 pounds.
A prospect who was in Stillwater yesterday, one we included in our Portal Offers, Visits and Commitments piece, was Kansas State transfer corner, Kanijal Thomas.
Thomas played his high school ball at Del City and is coming off his redshirt sophomore season. He played in seven games his freshman season in 2023, recording two total tackles and one punt return for zero yards.
An injury cut his ‘24 season short as he played in just two games late in the season, retaining his redshirt.
As a redshirt sophomore in ‘25, Thomas recorded five total tackles, which included one tackle and one pass break up in the Wildcats’ 14-6 win over the Cowboys in Stillwater. late in the season.
Thomas checks in at 5-11, 186 pounds.
A third prospect Morris and Co. are set to host this upcoming week is Wake Forest transfer receiver, Reginald Vick.
Vick is a 6-3, 200-pound redshirt senior out of Wendell, NC, and did not see the field during his one season with the Demon Deacons. Prior to his time in Winston-Salem, NC., Vick was a standout receiver for D2 Virginia Union, hauling in 48 catches for 1,164 yards and 12 touchdowns his redshirt sophomore season in 2024.
The Cowboys are in desperate need for big outside receivers and Vick would fill that role.
Morris and Co. are also set to host another Red Raider transfer in edge rusher Braylon Rigsby.
Rigsby is a 6-2, 275-pound edge rusher out of Woodville, TX. Officially listed as an outside linebacker, Rigsby played in all 13 games this past season for the Red Raiders, recording six total tackles and two QB hits, one coming against the Pokes this fall.
He also had the best game of his career against the Pokes in 2024, recording four total tackles, three of which were solo stops, and one tackle for loss.
Rigsby is set to be in Stillwater on Monday.
