Luke Tepas, QB, 6-3, 205, Barrington, Ill.

Athletic Traits: Good height, good size, speed is okay, but he is a pocket passer at the college level. Did not play other sports that we could find at Barrington High School.

High School Honors and Statistics: As a senior, 1st-team MSL West All-Conference, Conference Offensive Player of the Year, All-Area, All-State Academic, Team Awards- Hutty Award and Captain; 131 of 213 passing for 2,273 yards, 24 TDs, six int, 313 yards rushing with five TDs; Jr. season he only played in four games with 22 of 37 passing for 246 yards, three TDs, and one interception, eight carries for 30 yards.

Commitment Details: Committed to Oklahoma State Dec. 16, 2025

Other Schools Recruited by: Dayton and smaller schools. Illinois showed interest.

Our Thoughts: Looks to be a good decision maker and shows the ability to read the field well. Keeps the ball out of trouble the majority of the time. Understands his strengths and weaknesses well. He throws the ball with good lift and air under it, which is why he really excels on deep throws, fades, and back shoulder throws. Throws well to short and intermediate zones. He will need to get stronger and can improve his movement in the pocket to lengthen opportunities against the pass rush. He will also increase his velocity and rotation on his passes. Good developmental prospect considering the cycle was late in the process.
