STILLWATER – Oklahoma State picked up its first Quad 1 win of the season Wednesday night as the Pokes upset No. 16 BYU, 99-92.

With the win, the Cowboys saw a decent jump in the NET rankings from No. 67 up to No. 61. Still a ways left to go, but steps in the right direction with half the Big 12 schedule left to be played.

Quad 1 wins are defined as facing a team 1-30 in the NET at home, 1-50 at a neutral site and 1-75 out on the road.

As of February 5, the Cowboys still have five Q1 opportunities remaining on the schedule

  • @Arizona – Feb. 7 – Q1 (No. 1)
  • @Arizona State – Feb. 10 – Q1 (No. 73)
  • TCU – Feb. 14 – Q2 (No. 53)
